• 'Brown Bag' Staff Appreciation Luncheon
– Wednesday, Oct. 29
It's time to sign up for our second Staff Appreciation Luncheon of the year. We will host our fabulous staff on Wednesday, Oct. 29 (early release day!) a delicious brown bag lunch for them to enjoy during their staff meeting. Each staff member has turned in an order form for their perfect sandwich.
We will need lots of volunteers on hand Wednesday morning to help make sandwiches and pack the bags! Can't be there? No problem, help us out with the ingredients needed to make these wonderful lunches. Please note that all sandwich-making donations will need to be brought to the staff lounge BY TUESDAY, OCTOBER 28TH at the end of the school day. Desserts and drinks will need to arrive to school by 10:00am. Wednesday morning.
Thank you so much for your support in showing our staff how much we appreciate them. Questions? Email Michelle Fasser at michelle@fasser.
• Health Screening Assistants
– Monday, Nov. 10 & Wednesday, Nov. 12
Help HIMS Nurse, Anne Fote, with Vision & Hearing screening, from 8:15am to 2 pm (you will have a lunch break between 11:30 and 12:00 or 12:30). Volunteers may work half shifts or any block of time that works with their schedule. Ms. Fote will train you in the screening procedure the day you volunteer.
To schedule a time, please contact Ms. Fote at firstname.lastname@example.org. Volunteers must complete the following Volunteer Requirements, and return all forms to Hamilton’s front office. If you have questions about this process, please email Hamilton Volunteer Coordinator, Trina Torgelson at email@example.com.
• Reflections Art Contest Committee
All HIMS parents and staff are invited to help us carry out the Reflections Art Contest at Hamilton tis school year. Your help is greatly needed!
We have jobs big or small for any adult volunteers who can help us carry out the Reflections program at Hamilton. We need experienced judges in the various disciplines (no one will judge their own child’s work, of course), as well as help with organizing submissions and data entry. New this year, we’d like to showcase entries for the school community before they go on to the city level, so event planners are also welcome. We could even use some tech savvy people to help us figure out the best way to share digital works, such as film and dance choreography.
If you are interested in helping out in any way, please contact PTSA Reflections Coordinator, Lauren Marshall at Lauren@laurenmarshall.com.
