    PTSA Welcome Back Letter
    Posted on 08/28/2018

    Dear Hamilton families,

I hope you are enjoying these last weeks of summer with your growing kids. As we start to turn our eyes to fall, we may be excited, curious, and even anxious about what this year will bring for our students. How will they grow (physically, emotionally, mentally) in these next nine months? How will they be challenged? How might their challenges challenge us?

On behalf of Hamilton's PTSA, I'd like to welcome you to this school year and invite you to be part of this conversation. We are gearing up for a new year of partnership with school administration, teachers, and students--and we'd love for you to be a part of it. If your schedule permits, please join us on the first day of school for our first Parent Coffee of the year, right outside of the Hawk's Nest after drop off (for new families: this is the upper courtyard by the basketball hoops).

We have a special role as parents at this school: we have the opportunity to support not only our children but also their nearly one thousand peers--this is a big school!--in becoming couragous, compassionate, and resourceful young adults. Thank you for all that you do for our students. Looking forward to building up this school--and these kids--together this year.

    Camilla Layman

    PTSA President

N.P.P.S (No Pressure Post Script): We are still looking for a VP of Events to join us on the board this year--if that is your cup of tea, I'd love to chat with you.
