Inauguration on Wednesday, January 20:
The presidential inauguration will be taking place during advisory next Wednesday, January 20. We are asking that students check into advisory for attendance on Wednesday, and then students are more than welcome to watch the inauguration at home. We will be sending out more details to families on Tuesday about advisory for next week.
End of Semester 1 and Report Cards:
Please make note of a few important dates and information:
- January 27th - End of Semester 1
- January 28th - Day between Semesters, NO SCHOOL
- January 29th - First day of Semester 2
- February 10th - Report cards will be available no later than Feb 10th via the SOURCE. Families may request printed copies of report cards if they are unable to access remotely.
Hamilton Virtual Open House Presentation Info:
Our Virtual Open House presentation will be posted to our website scheduled for Wednesday, January 27th. We will be covering a broad range of topics including academics, athletics, activities, and our program offerings.
Due to COVID, we will be pre-recording our presentations. We are asking families to submit questions in advance so that we can best prepare our presentation to support your student’s transition to middle school. If you have specific questions, please complete the following survey at your earliest convenience and we will work to address them in our presentations.

On Wednesday, January 13th at 9am, Chris Singleton, inspirational speaker and former pro athlete, spoke to Eckstein, Jane Addams, and Hamilton students to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The assembly was amazing! A recording of his speech is available below. Note: the video recording is on Microsoft Stream, so students will have to log in with their Seattle Schools account for families to watch it together. The assembly officially starts at 7:47 in the recording.
