Winter Orchestra Concert
The Winter orchestra concert will be held December 10th, 7 pm at Lincoln High School.
Volunteers are needed to help the concert run smoothly, as well as for the bake sale. You will still be able to see your student perform, so please help us out. Furthermore, there will be Banh Mi sandwiches for sale, so come hungry. Please watch for volunteer sign-ups in the near future.
Concert Attire Exchange
Concert season is upon us, and it's time to gear up with concert attire that fits your growing student. Concert attire exchange bins are located in Mr. Harshman's band room for band and orchestra. Please donate your outgrown, clean black shirts, pants, and shoes (please either tie shoes together or put them in a bag) in the bin. Take gear in the bins that fit for your own use.
FOMAHI Enrichment Fee
Thank you to so many of you who paid your yearly enrichment fees. However, we are still behind in our budgeted fund raising goal. It's still not too late to register and pay the $25 fee if you haven't done so.
These enrichment fees are critical for funding trips, instrument purchase and maintenance, as well as a myriad of other uses. See below to see some of the more recent uses of your fees. Please take this time to re-register under the "register and payments" button on the left column of the FOMAHI website, link here.
Note that the fee is recommended, but not necessary to be a part of FOMAHI

Athletics News

JV Girls’ Soccer
The JV Girls’ soccer team had their last game of the season on Saturday against JAMS. JAMS scored early in the match, but Hamilton came back with a penalty kick taken by Edie Welch to tie the score at 1-1. The JV team finished the season with an undefeated record!
Go Hawks!
Basketball Coach for Varsity Boys
Hamilton Hawks are coming off a great season, in which they qualified for the SPS play-offs for the first time in many years. Interest is high and many boys are expected to try out during the week of December 9-12. Unfortunately, the varsity coach for the boys basketball team won’t be able to join us for the upcoming 2019/2020 season.
So, we’re looking for a passionate and knowledgeable basketball aficionado to coach either our varsity or JV basketball teams for boys, given that the current JV coach is happy to stay as a JV coach or step up into the V role, depending.
If interested, candidate should:
- Must be available two afternoons a week for practices, beginning second week of December and going through second week of March. Currently those days are Mondays (4 – 5:45) and Wednesdays (2:45 – 4:30) but we have flexibility.
- Is available Saturdays for games beginning Jan. 11, with game times anywhere from 8:00 am to 2 pm and at various locations around town.
- Has requisite specific knowledge and love of the game to guide 13 and 14 year-olds.
- Can complete requisite paper work through SPS and, if necessary, undergo required First Aid/CPR training.
Any interested party please contact David Evans, AD, at dsevans@seattleschools.org at your earliest convenience. Thanks.
