    JV Girls’ Soccer

The JV Girls’ soccer team had their last game of the season on Saturday against JAMS. JAMS scored early in the match, but Hamilton came back with a penalty kick taken by Edie Welch to tie the score at 1-1. The JV team finished the season with an undefeated record!

    Go Hawks!

    Basketball Coach for Varsity Boys

Hamilton Hawks are coming off a great season, in which they qualified for the SPS play-offs for the first time in many years. Interest is high and many boys are expected to try out during the week of December 9-12. Unfortunately, the varsity coach for the boys basketball team won’t be able to join us for the upcoming 2019/2020 season.

So, we’re looking for a passionate and knowledgeable basketball aficionado to coach either our varsity or JV basketball teams for boys, given that the current JV coach is happy to stay as a JV coach or step up into the V role, depending.

    If interested, candidate should:

    • Must be available two afternoons a week for practices, beginning second week of December and going through second week of March. Currently those days are Mondays (4 – 5:45) and Wednesdays (2:45 – 4:30) but we have flexibility.
    • Is available Saturdays for games beginning Jan. 11, with game times anywhere from 8:00 am to 2 pm and at various locations around town.
    • Has requisite specific knowledge and love of the game to guide 13 and 14 year-olds.
    • Can complete requisite paper work through SPS and, if necessary, undergo required First Aid/CPR training.

Any interested party please contact David Evans, AD, at dsevans@seattleschools.org at your earliest convenience. Thanks.
