    Good Afternoon Hamilton Community,

    We are almost two months into our new school year!  I hope this letter finds you safe and well with the resources that your family needs.

    Seattle Public Library Launches Free Virtual Tutoring for All SPS Students:

    Seattle Public Library is now offering free, one-on-one virtual tutoring for SPS students in grades K through 12 through Starting on Thursday, Oct. 15, Seattle students can connect through the Library’s platform at to get instant access to’s 3,000 highly vetted expert tutors, who can help youth with schoolwork, tutoring and academic coaching in a variety of subjects in a safe and secure online classroom. One-on-one help is available in math, writing, science, history, foreign languages, college essay writing, Advanced Placement (AP) courses and more.

    To access virtual tutoring through The Seattle Public Library, go to and log in with your library card or Library Link number and pin to request a tutor. Any student enrolled in SPS can log in with their student ID number through Library Link – go to to learn more.

    Tutors will be available seven days a week from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in English and Spanish and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Vietnamese. Many resources are also available 24/7 through Library Link

    FOMAHI is dedicated to ensuring all students have access to any supplies or instruments that are needed. We recognize the need for assistance may be higher due to the financial stresses of COVID.
