The second annual spelling bee

The second annual spelling bee will be an old fashioned one, in person on Wednesday, Feb 4th, after school in the Commons. Staring at 2:45, students will each be given a word to spell in front of their peers and we will go through multiple rounds of spelling until we find out champion! This person will be our representative in the regional competition and hopefully move to the national competition in Washington DC. I hope you can encourage your student to participate; they have been practicing every Thursday during lunch while getting a sweet reward for their efforts.
